Tester

Before discussing issue of repairing, I first present testers to repair electronic devices.

1. Audio signal tracer

Signal tracer is made of composite of detector and mini amplifier. Set of detector functions to change high frequency to be low frequency, then the frequency is amplified by mini amplifier so audio is produced from earphone (headphone).
Using signal injector connected to preamplifier input or if radio or mf radio, we can detect audio signal energized using signal tracer.
Signal injector can also be used to test amplifier power. When amplifier power is injected with signal injector, sound should be produced in loudspeaker if the amplifier power functions well.
If amplifier power is damaged, loudspeaker cannot sound although current voltage have been provided in the amplifier
There are two indicators to take decision after the tester is demonstrated:
a. When the audio tracer produces sound, it means the repair should be done on volume or amplifier of the electric device.
b. When the audio tracer does not produce sound, it means that the damaged is in receiver.
