This device can be used to test remote control having infrared or frequency. When remote control uses infrared, the tester should use infrared receiver sensor. To make sure that a remote control still functions well, you should use this tester. Its operation is simple, but its functions are great. The device has LED as indicator of testing remote control. You just face the remote control and tester’s sensor and by pressing remote control’s key then the LED will flash.
When the LED flashes, the remote control is not broken, but if the LED does not flash, the remote control is damaged or its battery runs off. It uses 6 Volt DC power supply and the tester can be used to test all remote control using infrared.
